Cloud Security Office Hours

What the heck is Cloud Security Office Hours?

Once a week, every Friday, we host a Zoom call that is an open forum for novices and experts in Cloud Security to collaborate and encourage each other in this field. It has been happening every week for almost 2 years now, and the results have been amazing

Register for our Zoom at https://sendfox.com/CSOH

If you're an expert, join us! If you are curious about Cloud Security, come listen and ask questions! I promise you'll learn something new on every call. There is absolutely no marketing and no hidden agenda, and it's entirely community supported.

We also have a Discord, if that's your thing!  https://discord.gg/AVzAY97D8E

Networking

Breaking into any field requires a network of trusted individuals, and this is the place to build your network!

Cloud Security Focus

Office Hours is a place to ask anything.  If you're thinking it, so is someone else, so speak up!  It's a safe and respectful space!

Mentorship

Everybody learns from everybody.

Some guidelines...

For those of you who are new to Office Hours, we invite anybody to join, but I do ask that everyone follow a few guidelines.

  • Please be respectful.  There will be people from all knowledge levels, and we want to encourage all participation.

  • THERE ARE NO DUMB QUESTIONS.  Please feel free to ask about anything that you think is related to Cloud Security.  If you're thinking it, it's likely someone else is, too.  Speak up!

  • Anybody is eligible to ask or respond to a question.  Speak up or put something in chat, whatever you are comfortable with.  And if you see or hear a question and want to speak up, please do so!

  • This is a non-compete space for all vendors (this is important).  We are all here to learn and share. This is not about products.  But you might hear about products as it's the nature of our industry.  Opinions are welcome, but we are not here to pitch anything.

The presentation portion of these sessions may be recorded so that other people can benefit, but we aim to be in non-recording mode most of the time so that people feel free to speak up and ask questions.

We do not use any information from these sessions for marketing purposes, and that’s a promise.
